Where did the McCain campaign find this world-class nitwit?

What kind of “spokesman” gets pinned as an oaf by Rick Sanchez—I’m sorry, but you’re no professional if you can’t wiggle through an interview by ‘Cable News Network’.

More of his Greatest Hits:

On Time’s Joe Klein not being allowed on the McCain plane: “We don’t allow Daily Kos diarists on board either.”

On a question by The Atlantic’s Andrew Sullivan: “Andrew Sullivan has the biggest one-man ego on the planet.”

His parting shot after the campaign’s failure:

I think people wanted to see McCain lose with honor. That’s how they wanted it to play out, like a fucking episode of The West Wing.

Meanwhile, on the campaign website he’s been dumping venom:

Just after the New York Times ended months of intense speculation by announcing its endorsement of Barack Obama, the company’s corporate credit rating was lowered to ‘junk’ status—an appropriate reflection of the paper’s editorial judgment as well as the quality of its reporting.”

Maybe, buddy, but their guy won.
